And He's Off....

Late last week, I decided it was time to army crawl so I could get around better! I was at my Grandma Saviano's house when I first took off after some stacking cups that rolled away from me!

Here is a video of me in action! My mommy asked that you ignore her finger and annoying mom voice!

Hope you enjoy! Can you believe tomorrow I will be 7-months old??

4 & 5-Month Milestones

It’s been awhile since I have blogged!  I will try to be better about updating this site-I am just so busy learning new things and enjoying lots of activities! Here is a list of things I have recently accomplished:

On December 5th, I had my 4-month appointment with my pediatrician. I weighed 13lbs, 4 oz and was 24.5 inches tall. I have come a long way since I was born! My next appointment is at the end of this month and I am anxious to see how much weight I have gained!

I can turn over from my tummy to my back. I am still working on rolling over from my back to my tummy-I am so close!! I am really more interested in standing, though! I love to stand! Here is a fun picture of me! My parents think I might just skip crawling and just start walking one day!

In mid-December, I started to eat solid foods. I started out with oatmeal-- I have to admit, I was not a big fan! We decided to give up on the cereals and go straight to the purees once I turned 5-months. My mommy has been making my food and so far I have tried bananas, apples and pears! It’s going okay so far, I am still a little skeptical about this solid food, I really like milk the best. But I am getting the hang of the spoon and eating. One problem is, I don’t really like to sit still for very long so it’s hard for me to sit in my high chair and be content!

One of the most exciting things for me was finding my feet!! I discovered they were there over the holidays and I am still fascinated by them! I can grab them and put them in my mouth!

Speaking of my mouth, I love to make raspberry sounds and I recently learned how to yell! It’s fun! And I love to laugh, especially when I play peek-a-boo, that is one fun game!!!

Other than that, I love playing in my excersaucer, Johnny Jump Up and all my toys,
that is how I spend most of my days!

So as you can tell, I have been learning lots of new things! I am also so close to being able to sit up on my own, but am not quite there yet! It will be fun to play with all my toys by myself once I am able! I better get back to practicing! Talk to you soon!
